WaterFirst aid

A purple oxidizer still used to pretreat some water (iron, hydrogen sulfide) and as a dilute soak in old protocols. It stains everything and will ignite glycerin on contact. Store it like it wants to burn the shelf.

What it does

  • ▸Water pre-treatment for iron / odor in some field systems, followed by real disinfection
  • ▸Very dilute soaks in some traditional skin protocols — commercial products are safer

Hazards

  • ▸Glycerin + permanganate can self-ignite at room temperature.

In the field

If you do not already have a reason and a written dilution, skip this compound. Bleach and boiling cover drinking water for almost every den.
